A lot of poker is based on psychology. Most people think it’s the psychology of the table, the game, like tricking people with a bluff, scaring people with aggressive play, or fooling people with a check raise. But that’s only half the story.
The other, and probably more important part, is your own personal psychology. What is going on in your own brain. Because the way you think affects the way you act and that affects your results. If you want to get better results at the poker table just change how you think.
Now, there are one and a million ways to think, and what works for one person won’t necessarily work for you. But there are some critical mistakes that will pull down almost any player. And I’m revealing them now.
